Patrick Breen prides himself on being a storyteller. Plain and simple.
He is a staff photographer at The Arizona Republic and May 2012 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Patrick approaches every assignment with the same excitement and intrigue he has had since beginning his photographic career.
He has won Arizona Press Club's Photographer of the Year in 2019 and 2021, AZPC's Sports Photographer of the Year in 2020 and 3 Emmy's for documentary work on High School Football in the State of Arizona.
When not shooting he can be found on the couch with his wife, Mikayla and son, Kai. They enjoy watching Sesame Street and Game of Thrones and any crossover between the two.
Patrick may be trapped in the summer heat of Arizona, but he loves to travel and would go anywhere the wind might take him. He is available for freelance only in places that a car, plane, boat or pair of rollerblades can go.
